CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT... This month we're featuring James's Glass Top "2020 Work From Home" Desk. He says: "I built this small desk (after several months at the dining room table) to accommodate my wife, both kids and I all having to work from home in our small bungalow. The scrolls are all bent from 1/4" round 304 stainless and the frame is 1" square tube (also 304) -- all purchased and picked up from Speedy Metals in New Berlin." Want to see your work featured here? Send us an email at newsletter@speedymetals.com. You can also check out other great customer projects on our blog or on our Facebook page. |
WHAT YOU'RE SAYING... "Awesome online purchase of hard to find angle pieces. Shipping was fast, precise cuts on metal stock. Price very reasonable and phone interaction was very professional. I highly recommend this e-commerce company for all your metal needs. Pleasant experience and I'll be back buying more!"

DID YOU KNOW...? ...that scientists have discovered a fourth mechanism of ductility? A team of researchers has produced areas of amorphous, noncrystalline structures inside of high entropy metal alloys, which could lead to major increases in strength and toughness. “Significant new developments and discoveries in metal alloys are quite rare,” says Marc Meyers, a professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UC San Diego. But this discovery could have major implications for aerospace, energy, cryogenic, and numerous other applications. Learn more here.
