CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT... This month we're featuring a project by Tim Sorensen, who says: "Over the last month I built a device that can be used to move heavy trailers around inside of a garage or even out in the yard. This allows you to be out of a vehicle so you can maneuver the trailer into some very tight spaces. Speedy Metals custom cut every piece of steel in the project to my specifications which saved me a lot of work. Thanks Speedy Metals!" Want to see your work featured here? Send us an email at newsletter@speedymetals.com. You can also check out other great customer projects on our blog or on our Facebook page. |
WHAT YOU'RE SAYING... "Walter was super helpful in the web department as always. He's my go to guy."

DID YOU KNOW...? ...that bacteria can convert toxic copper ions into stable, single-atom copper? The current process for converting copper sulfate into pure copper is expensive and labor-intensive. There is also the risk of exposure to sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide during the smelting process. But scientists have discovered a microbe living in copper mines in Brazil that uses "a unique biological pathway with an array of proteins that can extract copper and convert it into single-atom zero-valent copper."
