CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT This month we're featuring George Britnell, who sent us these pictures of the working scale model he built of a 1918 Galion road grader. He says: "My submission is a 1" scale model of a 1918 Galion road grader. It's made primarily from brass bar stock and sheet brass. Due to the scale all the gears were cut by hand because they were odd pitches. The original machine was used to take dimensions and photographs. Everything functions like the full sized original. The screws go from 0-80 to 3-56 thread. The total hours for measuring, making working drawings and fabricating is somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 hours." Want to see your work featured here?
