This week we're featuring Tim Einwalter, who used the metal he got from Speedy to restore a 1934 Dodge sedan that had been cut into a Doodlebug in the 1940s.
He says: "We used Speedy for the replacement frame rails, motor mounts, etc."
Here's the pinion bump stop:
"Vertical frame weld. I’m only a hobbyist welder I’m rather proud of the welds on the vehicle." | "Running board brackets. Utilized the ability to have Speedy to cut metal to the exact length for these. I was surprised I could make such repetitious bends. Again just a weekend warrior using a shop press." |
"Rear frame where we are staring the box floor supports." | "One of the few frame photos I have. This shows a tubular cross member the auxiliary trans is hung from. You can also see the transition between the replacement frame rails and the original front frame." |
