This week, we're featuring Joe H., who made his own hitch bumper, after deciding that the ones on the market were too flimsy to offer sufficient protection.
He says:
"This is one of my first projects that was made possible by Speedy Metals. Nothing fancy this time but instead a little form AND function. I wanted something to offer a little protection from the inattentive drivers around us."
"It’s made of 3/16" plate and 2"(.250 Wall) square tubing. Yup! That’ll do. Gratefully, it hasn’t been put to the test but I know it will help in the event that it’s needed. Thanks Speedy Metals for providing the steel I needed at good prices."
