This week we're featuring Vincent Homer, who built this firefighting nozzle for the U.S. Navy.
He says: "This project was a firefighting nozzle for the US navy. The nozzle incorporates a rotary cutter to cut a hole through aircraft skin so firefighting foam can be squirted inside the aircraft to fight an internal fire. Once the hole cutter breaks through the red, 4130 dogs lock the unit in the hole. All the 6061 and 7075 aluminum and 4130 steel was purchased from Speedy Metals."
