Jeff Williams, the turf equipment manager at Broadmoor Golf Club used the metal he got from Speedy to repair the hitch receiver for a material handler, saving him over $3500!
The material handler, called a TYCROP MH400, can carry up to 14,000 pounds of material. They experienced a major breakdown at the towing tongue of the machine, which would have required ordering a new lower frame assembly from the manufacturer. But Jeff ordered a piece of square steel tubing from Speedy, and built a new hitch receiver himself.
He says: "Along with other pieces of flat bar and plate from Speedy Metals, I was able to rebuild the tow hitch for this machine with relative ease."
